To use SentSays integrations or plugins, you’ll need:
- A SentSays account with a plan that includes Developer API Access
- An API Key generated from the Developer Tools page
- Access to the platform where the integration is used (e.g., WordPress admin access for plugins)
- Basic configuration - often just a few clicks and pasting your API key
Plugin and webhook usage requires Developer API Access, which is available only on selected plans.
How Integrations Work
Most plugins come with:
- A setup screen where you paste your SentSays API Key
- Pre-built events that automatically send messages when things happen (like a new order or cart update)
- Options to customize messages with placeholders like
{{customer_name}}
or{{order_total}}
- Reporting and logs to see what was sent, when, and to whom
