This guide will walk you through installing the SentSays WhatsApp Notifications for WooCommerce plugin and connecting it to your SentSays account for automated WhatsApp messaging.

Plan Requirement

Make sure your current plan supports API access by visiting the Developer Tools page in your SentSays dashboard.

Installation Options

You can install the plugin in two ways:


Option 1: Install from WordPress Plugin Directory

Best for users who prefer automatic installation via WordPress

  1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
  2. Go to Plugins → Add New.
  3. Search for: SentSays WhatsApp Notifications for WooCommerce.
  4. Click Install Now, then Activate the plugin.

Option 2: Manual Installation via ZIP File

Useful for custom installs or direct download from SentSays

  1. Download the Plugin
  2. In your WordPress admin panel, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
  3. Upload the .zip file.
  4. Click Install Now, then Activate Plugin.

Connect Your SentSays API Key

Once the plugin is activated:

  1. Go to WooCommerce → SentSays Settings.
  2. Paste your API Key (generated from the Developer Tools page).
  3. Click Check API Key to verify its validity.
  4. If the key is valid, the plugin features will unlock.

Optional: Test Mode for Safe Testing

Before sending live WhatsApp messages, use Test Mode to simulate message behavior:

  • Enable Test Mode in plugin Settings
  • All triggered messages will appear in Message Logs but won’t be sent
  • Disable Test Mode when ready to go live

With the plugin installed and connected to SentSays, your WooCommerce store is now ready to deliver seamless WhatsApp updates and recover more sales!
