The Automation Settings page lets you control how SentSays prioritizes replies to your customers’ messages. By managing the response sequence, you ensure the most relevant and effective automated response is sent.

Response Sequence Priority

You can choose the order in which the system searches for a matching reply by setting the priority among these three options:

  1. AI Reply Assistant
  2. Basic Replies
  3. Automated Flows

The system will check for a suitable response starting from the top priority and move down the list if no match is found.

If a flow is already active for a contact, this response sequence is ignored. The active flow controls the conversation until it ends or is stopped.

How to Adjust Response Priority

Use the drag and drop interface on this page to reorder the response types based on your business needs. This allows you to customize the automation behavior precisely:

  • Drag AI Reply Assistant to the top if you want AI-generated replies to take precedence.
  • Place Basic Replies higher if keyword-based quick replies are your priority.
  • Move Automated Flows up if complex workflows should respond first.
