The WhatsApp Settings page lets you configure your WhatsApp Business integration using the Embedded Signup feature. This process makes connecting your WhatsApp account to SentSays easy and secure, enabling you to send and receive messages through the WhatsApp Business API.

Using Embedded Signup

The Embedded Signup feature simplifies linking your WhatsApp Business number with SentSays:
  1. Click the Start Embedded Signup button.
  2. Follow the guided steps to authenticate your WhatsApp Business number securely.
  3. Review and approve necessary permissions for the integration.
  4. Once connected, your WhatsApp number will be ready to send and receive messages via SentSays.
Important
  • You must have a valid WhatsApp Business account to use this feature.
  • The embedded signup process may take a few minutes to complete depending on WhatsApp API response times.

Updating Business Details

After successful connection, you can update your WhatsApp Business profile information right from the settings page.
  • Business profile picture
  • Business address
  • Contact email
  • Business description
  • Industry category
Keeping these details accurate helps build trust with your customers and improves message relevance.

Webhook Configuration

SentSays automatically sets up the required webhook during the Embedded Signup process to ensure smooth communication between WhatsApp and your account.
You don’t need to manually configure the webhook. However, ensure your webhook is active and responding correctly to avoid message delivery issues.

Deregistering WhatsApp

If you need to disconnect your WhatsApp Business account from SentSays, you can deregister it from the WhatsApp Settings page.
  • Disconnect your WhatsApp number from SentSays
  • Stop all message sending and receiving through this number
  • Remove access to WhatsApp-related features until re-registered
Deregistering will interrupt all ongoing campaigns and chats using this WhatsApp number. Make sure to notify your team and plan accordingly before deregistering.
